Change in Procedure for Move Order RM & PM


Dear RM Inventory Move Order Support Team,


I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to inform you that there has been a change in our procedure for Move Order Raw Material (RM) & Packing Material (PM) due to the current manpower shortage and production crisis.


As you are aware, it was previously the practice for Production line people who were involved in the process and at a particular time to check the Move Order RM & PM at the RM Inventory in transit checkpoint. However, to reduce man-hours and streamline the operation during this crisis, the higher authority has decided to hand over the Move Order RM & PM directly to the Production line after preparing the MO materials.


To ensure that we maintain accuracy and accountability, please follow the instructions below:


1. After preparing the MO materials, conduct a physical cross-check of the item list at the Inventory end.


2. Directly transfer the RM & PM to the Production line while ensuring an acknowledgment sign from the Production line supervisor and our Inventory officer.


3. The worker who receives the Move Order should sign directly on it.


Additionally, I would like to inform you that from now on, the one-day packing room will no longer be maintained as it is currently. Therefore, please make your plans and support the Move Order RM & PM to the production line on your own wards according to the given instructions.
