Email Feedback : An Audit Observation on Warehouse Visit



Dear Sir,

 

Refer to the below email attached observation from you, please take some notes as follows :

 

Root Causes :

i)                    Inventory-WDM is passing crucial moments with the limited manpower to cope with core production support and other operation support.

ii)                   Moreover have to meet incidental support with the necessity of line support.

iii)                 In this connection, our workers and supervisors are working in a scattered way mostly right now to manage production support in time with the market demand.

iv)                 This is one of the most common reasons why some anomalies have occurred and this will be increased if we do not get justified manpower for a busy warehouse system.

v)                   Please see in the attachment the email asking from the EHS dept. similarly, we maintained a cleaning workforce regularly on a certain Friday(Holiday) but the HR dept. raised an obligation regarding Bill and we stopped the job there.

vi)                 Another reason is that almost every Friday remained open for production and that stopped the robust special cleaning overall inventory by turns with the collaboration of Cleaning-Admin and Inventory team.

vii)               In fact, the RM Inventory infrastructure is in such ways or places which is not have any ideal inventory for a Mobile Cell phone product.

viii)              Mentioning especially for Level-2(Building-3) Inventory places/arrangement which is along with Workshop whereas Metal cutting/welding/manufacturing etc. works are being done.

ix)                 Moreover need to add that Painting jobs like powder coating/spray etc. are being done along with our Inventory places.

x)                   Both dept. are highly hazardous and organic, inorganic dust created daily every moment and where this is not practically feasible to clean and keep up to the standard regularly/daily.

xi)                 Matter of fact this type of dust naturally auto-enters into the closed cartoon though cleaned outside and complaints arise from the line after issuing material from inventory when they open the cartoon.

xii)               Moreover, the overall scenery for Level 3 is also the same though many times less than that of Level 2 but the impact comes/spreads from Level 2 mostly and the atmosphere.

Recommendations from Inventory-WDM :

i)                    Need to ensure us sufficient Manpower of Inventory and Cleaning dept. for a scheduled robust cleaning job regularly.

ii)                   Need to ensure we designate standard RM warehouse places to avoid such observations.

iii)                 Moreover need to ensure a covered fencing RM warehouse to meet the quality.
